Help Phone Call Issues

I have been getting a lot of people telling me that they can't hear me too well on my phone. Is this a common issue with the One X or is it just me? I did recently add an otterbox defender case and I think that could possibly be the problem. Any opinions?

Definitely your Otterbox. See my thread for my testing with it. Otterbox is sending me a new one..

Don't think it will fix it though probably have to work with them for a fix.

This may be a sign of bigger problems. I have a HOS. My problem is generally poor reception in fringe areas. I was in a fringe area and had no signal even though iPhones and Blackberrys ( and other phones on the same carrier) were working. I put the phone down and looked at it later, I had 3 bars. I picked it up and in a moment I had no bars. Put it down again and it ticked up to 3 bars again. This was repeatable. I think this is an antenna problem like the iPhone 4 had which I think they solved with software. This could also be the cause of the problem with the case. How do we get HTC to look into this and fix it?

Otherwise, a wonderful phone.
