Phone Calling Itself

[Android Question]

I have a Samsung Galaxy S5. AT&T is my provider. Lately I've been having advertisements on my screen when I open my phone. Today, my phone called itself three times within 9 minutes. Why would it do that and how can I make it stop that, please?
