Help Phone calls on external speaker?

Hi, I have Samsung Galaxy S, T Mobile, Froyo (2.2). In the car I have it plugged into the external aux socket on my Car Stereo via a standard 3.5mm cable. Great for listening to music in the car. When I get a phone call though, the call comes thru' on the phone's inbuilt speaker & not over the car stereo - why is this? How can I rectify it?

Having the same problem here and have been reading through threads and it seems there is no fix.

Not the answer you were looking for, but how about using a BT speaker that sets on the dash or hangs on the visor?

I just bought me one for me car, it is the BlueAnt S1 Visor.

They have several models to choose from.
