Phone can't turn on

Device - HTC 10 Evo

When - Last Sunday night

What - I tried to turn on my phone but I got stuck in the HTC black background logo, the phone doesn't turn on

Why - Need to blame XDA on this (substratum theme engine)

Note - Phone rooted, TWRP installed, adb on pc installed (I can use it if it helps)

can you get to recovery? if so can you do a nandroid restore?

I can get to recovery mode (TWRP)
However when I go to factory reset and swipe, the phone still doesn't turn on and stuck in the HTC logo

why can't you get into twrp? what happens? how did the phone get this way?
