Help Phone changing ring tones randomly?

In order to keep the "forum from dying" I figured that I'd post a minor problem that we can discuss.

Today my phone rang and the ring tone was a Bob Segar song. I had not set the song as a ring tone so I was a bit perplexed by it.

Later, my Wife called me and the ring tone was "Don't Stop Me Now" by Queen which is also not a song that I had set as a ring tone.

Yesterday I was receiving voice mails despite the phone never ringing.

I was wondering if this is one of the bugs in 2.2.1 or is this just a problem on my phone.
 
Wow, I'm actually perplexed too, at how odd this problem is o_O
I've never had this happen, currently also on 2.2.1

Where are you placing your music files on your SD card?
Did you have cell coverage when you should have received those calls? Maybe the phone was in airplane mode
 
I put my music files in a folder titled, "Music." (I'm the creative type)

I get one bar of 3g service where the phone usually rests.

I suspect that quite a few of my problems are due to AT&T. My Wife's blackberry has been acting strangely and my security system uses AT&T wireless as well and it keeps reporting random signal losses.

What I can't explain is the ring tone swaps.
 
Hi all
This happen one time on my Nexus one,rather odd and has never dun it again ??
and i am still waiting for the latest up (from good old Vodafone in the UK)
so do't think it's the new update.

I have the same problem with my UK Orange Arc S. I set a tone for calls and messages, but they change all on their own. It's driving me mad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
