Help Phone constantly restarting, APK Exception error

HeSoDope

Lurker
I recently purchased a cheap chinese smartwatch in order to determine if it was worth purchasing a $250 smartwatch. Once I got it set up it worked seamlessly for a few minutes then I continuely received the error message, "Sorry, APK exception, will exit" Within the first day my phone has seemed to crash. Constantly rebooting and never making it pasted the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 screen before restarting itself. Not sure what to do at this point, any help would be greatly appreciated!

I suggest you get rid of the cheapo smartwatch, and then do a cache wipe. Phil

Step #1
Turn your phone OFF.

Step #2 Boot into Recovery Mode:- Press and hold, simultaneously, the Volume UP + Power + Home buttons until you see some small, blue, writing appear in the top left hand corner of the screen and release immediately.

Step #3 You will then see the small, stock, Recovery menu. Using the Volume UP and DOWN buttons, navigate to the menu item, "wipe cache", or, "wipe cache partition", depending on your model.

Step #4 Once the option is highlighted you can use the Power key to enact the wipe and reboot your phone.

Thanks to Ironass for the above information.

Hi,

You may also want to boot your phone into safe mode to see if any packages you installed are causing the problem. If the phone is not crashing in safe mode you should go ahead and delete anything you installed recently.

Regards,
Eric.

Cheap Chinese smart-watch with a cheap Chinese support app you install, and it's buggy probably. Uninstall the app, see if that clears the problem. If it does, send it back for a refund.
