Help Phone Contacts on Facebook

Suddenly I discover my enitre contact list from my phone is on my Facebook profile. I don't have Facebook on my phone (that I know of) and can't find the setting to stop synching to Facebookik if there is one. how do I prevent it from happening again? Thanks.
 
If you do menu-settings-accounts & sync there is no fb account listed there? That's where it should be then tap it and uncheck sync contacts.
 
That's odd. Nothing for fb for htc sense? And no fb app in your app draw? I don't see how it sync'd without any of those options on your phone. Cause i know on the regular fb website under the contacts section it says to stop it you have to disable the syncing from the fb app on the phone.
 
If you go into your contact list on your phone and tap menu-view does it show fb or fb for htc sense contacts as an option? If it's listing your fb friends under that somehow (i don't know how) it sync'd to your phone. So you never signed in to the fb app? How long have you had the phone?

The only thing I can think of is to sign into the mobile app change it to don't sync then sign out. Once you sign in and are at the main page that shows profile friends etc tap menu-settings scroll down to sync and choose remove facebook data
 
OK, did that. Will wait a day and make sure the contacts don't re-appear. Can't figure out how they got there in the first place since I never used FB on the phone or had phone contacts set to synch wiht FB.

All I see are phone numbers of people I friended on FB. Phone numbers on my phone that are not FB friends are not showing. I'm pretty sure that was what was going on all along, so no mysterious synching going on that I can tell.
 
Warning to ALL ...ALL THE PHONE NUMBERS IN YOUR PHONE are now on Facebook! No joke - go to the top right of the screen, click on Account, then click on Edit Friends, go left on the screen and click on Contacts. All phone numbers are published!! Please repost this on your Status, so your friends can remove their numbers and thus prevent abuse if they do not want them published
 
Um you can remove them yourself if you don't want them there.

Following what you said you can do account-edit friends-contacts-off to the right I believe is remove contacts.

Then to prevent it from happening again from your phone go into the fb app (the main page that shows profile, friends, etc) tap menu-settings-scroll down to sync tap then choose remove.
 
Can someone explain to me, once and for all, whose fault all contacts numbers going onto facebook si?
I assume its either android/google or htc/htc sense, and not facebook?
