Help Phone crapped out

Lurker
My Note has worked quite well since I bought it new a couple of weeks after the initial release, but last night it crapped out on me.

I plugged my phone into the wall charger after the battery died. I turned it on and went to set my alarm and it came up with an error MTP application has stopped. I reset the phone and it seemed to work, I woke up before the alarm this morning so I don't know if it really worked or not.

When I woke up I tried to download a file from the internet and it said I needed to connect an sd card, there is one in it. All day long anytime I try to use it I get a list of errors.

MTP application has stopped
TwLauncher has stopped
android.process.media has stopped
system process has stopped
internet has stopped (I wasn't using the internet)

Those are just the ones since I started writing them down to keep track.

I would rather not do a factory reset and lose all my data, what can I do?

maybe try under storage to dislog the sd card then turn the phone off take out the battery and sd card then put back in see what happen.

I can't dislog the sd card because I can't access the storage section of the settings, but I am going to try pulling it out and the battery.

ok but you need to put back in the sd card maybe you just needed a knock on and off. which note you have and version os?
