phone crashing?

I just got the droid today. It has crashed like 7 times. I will be playing around on it and it acts like it is getting overloaded and shuts off and restarts. anyone else with this problem? what could be causing this?
 
There have been many posts on this. Most likely it is app related, although some are likely defective. If you can't narrow it down to an app-return it. One thing I have been able to figure out is that when I am syncing data and weatherbug was running it would crash. When I removed weatherbug it was fine-so far
