Hi, I am new to this forum, and I have a question.
I want to buy my first Android phone. I am looking for one which I can do some application development and tinkering for fun, up to 400 euros (~$500).
How important is processor speed and ram? Will I need more than 1GHz CPU? How much difference will I notice between 512MB ram and 1GB / Single core and Dual core?
I plan to use it for calls, web surfing and maybe some games like Minecraft. I might also use GPS and google maps.
I would also like to use it as a network troubleshooter. I want to be able to connect to SSH, VPN, pinging hosts, etc.
I would consider myself a bit on the power-user side. What phones do you suggest?
