Phone died

Was reading something with chrome and the phone froze. I tried to reboot but nothing working.
Pulled the battery and when it restarted got passed the logo logo(movie) and then it was ready to unlock. I went to unlock and went into the boot logo again.
So I booted into recovery and wiped davik, battery stats and cache hoping this would work.
This time only got as far as the siyah splash screen and froze.
Pulled the battery and now wont even boot.

Am I screwed?:(
 
fix permissions ??

oops just reread your posts, can you not get into download ??

try hard reset=

pull battery, hold power, home and volume button for 10 - 20 secs , reinsert battery and try again
 
Tried a hard reset and nothing.
I have noticed that, when looking at the back of the phone, just below the camera to the right is getting warm when the battery is plugged in.
 
If my phone is bricked what are my options.
Only got this phone new in Feb and is running a custom rom, was.
 
If it won't even turn on, then they cant prove you messed with it. Say you want a replacement.

If they do get it to turn on but then discover you were flashing it, well at least you have a phone that turns on again, and can potentially be rescued.

This may sound silly but I have seen it done before, all the turning on and off and if the rom was draining the battery, is it is possible you just need to leave it plugged in / charging or use an external charger to get some juice back into the battery, then go straight into download mode and flash a safer rom?
 
I noticed you haven't done a full wipe / factor reset yet. Is that because you can't, or because you want to try and recover without some data loss? In the case of the former, you can get a $2 (or equivalent in your currency) usb jig off ebay which will boot to download mode and allow you to flash using Odin. In the case of the latter, do a factor reset, since it looks like you're beyond recovering with data :)

Cannt get it to start at all, just wont turn on at all. Have a USB jig on the way so hopefully that will get me into download mode.
 
I got the phone back this morning. All internals where changed for new under warranty.
So guess Samsung couldnt get it started also.

Happy days.
