Help phone dieing faster then normal

for some reason as of believe thursday of this past week, i have been doing my normal amount of calls and texts, which is not too much because i leave the phone in the car, but lately the battery life is just dieing rapidly, and i cant figure out why. as of last night i charged it up and unplugged the phone from the charger at about 1:22am in the morning and woke up today at 9ish and the phone was completely dead.... any ideas here ? I have noticed that some refresh icon is popping up lately on the top bar near the battery life and the signal bars... any help would be greatly appreciated
 
i would say either theres a massive amount of apps running constantly or the battery is defective..im almost certain its one of those.
 
If you are leaving it in the car, make sure that it is not extremely hot or cold. If you are somewhere that is getting below freezing, you might have damaged your battery. Extreme hot would do the same, but even down here in SWFL, it has not been extremely hot the past few weeks.

I would take the battery to Metro and request that it be replaced.
 
it might have been hot one day while i had it in the glovebox while i was at work, but i wouldnt say extremely hot. i just went to the local metro center and the line was out the door with more then an hour wait.. i just changed some email settings maybe that might have been the issue. i am also thinking of looking into a task manager, i know people say its not necessary on android but maybe it might be helpful

Well my mobile Internet is unavailable for some reason. So it causes it to keep searching for it, killing the bettery life. Might be your problem too

This is the big problem everyone is having. My battery has also been draining fast since Thursday now that I think about it. It makes sense that the system is workimg harder to get updates since it cannot connect. I believe the OP has been having this battery problem for longer though.
 
The same happen to me metro finally fixed it today the battery die faster than normal also the apps were not working it is fine now
 
My battery is dying super fast with no use and battery appears to get warm. The problem just started yesterday (I think). Is this related to the system wide problem with Metro? If so, how do I turn off background sync?

Update: Nevermind, I found it...

actually mine started acting like that on thursday as well. i changed my mail settings its helped somewhat. and i also have my wifi active so it can find a signal and not have a problem killing the battery
