Root phone displaying moving horizontal lines?

last night while flashing a theme i made i fell asleep while it was still in cwm recovery, so the phone screen stayed on all night (8 hours). when i woke up there was moving horizontal lines being displayed on my screen. i've experienced these before when my phone overheated or oc'ing. its been 4 hours since i woke up and i've refrained from using it much since then. the lines are going away but very slowly. has anyone had this problem and know a fix?
 
maybe they will just slowly go away. this is strange problem but if the lines are going away lik you say you are then its just a manner of time
 
looks like the signs of a dying LCD
if you see white or black lines/blocks pop up soon - youre in for trouble.
