Unfortunately, I dropped my Optimus V phone. When I picked it up the screen was not cracked or damaged, but the screen was not functional (it turns on with a semi black background a single vertical white line).
I found a youtube tutorial on how to open the phone up, but how do I test if the screen just needs to be replaced or if it is a bigger circuit problem?
I found a replacement screen on ebay, but don't want to waste my money if simply replacing the screen won't help the matter.
