Help Phone going crazy

hey guys my sisters been saying her phone has been going crazy and everytime she came to show me it wasnt doing it lol but this time when she showed me it was really bad, im talking the phone was calling random people, hanging up, opening facebook, going to someones profile, commenting on something, closing then calling someone else. It was pretty bad. I didnt think HTC would have problems like this. Can anyone help me fix this for my sister?

yeah ive pulled the battery out but she says it still does it. The phone is completely stock, but im experienced with flashing roms and all that good stuff so if stock is just shitty then i will proceed to root, backup, then flash whatever ROM this phone has out

I would say try a factory reset. I'm not sure rooting will change anything. Make sure you back up everything first.
