I just traded a iphone 3g for a atrix 2.
I was getting internet with my 3g while I was on EDGE/2G, but the atrix 2 won't hook up to the internet on Edge/2g. Why? Is there something I can do?Is there something i can check or a setting on my new phone I don't know about?
It pisses me off that a 3 year old 3g iphone will pick up 2g/edge and my Atrix 2 won't.
Wife called CS yesterday and they said it looked like one of the towers was putting out a low signal blah,blah,blah and said something about a Sim card and that a new one might help.
Wife just talked to one her co workers(just purchased a Atrix 2) and said hers does the same thing not wanting to work on Edge/2g and that it has to be at least 3g before hers will work.
When I bought the phone, I purchased a $20 screen protector and ordered a Otterbox Commuter case that was wasted money and won't be able to use.
It looks like if I can't get this resolved, I'll be taking the phone back and buying something else.
I'm getting a 4 to 5 bar signal and recieving and making calls are as clear as a bell, but the data part just wont work.
