Hi everyone, i currently have Mobsters rom on my phone. Today i was gonna switch over to a new rom. In preparation for this i used 4EXT to wipe my cache/delvik and i also Formatted Partitions (except SDcard) When i rebooted my phone it is now stuck at the White Screen that says HTC been like this for about 20 minutes now

You just wiped the Rom you had previously. go back into 4EXT and install the new Rom. Its just like reinstalling windows. once you format you have to reinstall.

Actually on my HTC I only have to hold "volume down" - a single press on the power button to start the boot suffices. Is this model different?

This phone is the same. As long as your holding the volume down button the whole time, A single short press on the power button to turn on the phone will boot into the bootloader.

I always held down both. I use a case and my power button seems less sensitive. It helps with getting to recovery.

I agree it is better to hold down both, That way there is no doubt you will get into the bootloader, But its not needed to hold both. Only the volume button.

Plus, Its easier to help people by saying hold down both instead of hold down volume and press power.
