Help Phone is stuck on Google Splash screen

I was changing some settings on the FB app and next thing i know the phone reboots and keeps looping back to the Google splash screen. How do i recover from this?

I have 4.0.2 i think? Everything was fine until that damn facebook app

Battery pull.

pulled battery, power+volume down, all that no worky. ended up having to reinstall the firmware. weird.
