Hey guys, I have the galaxy s2 and have recently noticed that the phone keeps rebooting it self about once or twice a day.

Is this normal? Is this the way android deals with memory resets or is the something wrong?

I am rooted, but can't say I've noticed this problem before. It occurs at odd times too. Rebooted at 3am this morning and again at lunch time today. On average it reboot at least once a day.
I am on android 2.3.4
Baseband version I910000XXKI1
Kernel version 2.6.35.7
Build number gingerbread xwki4

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Lee

As you are rooted, have you tried booting into Recovery and Wiping cache and Dalvik?

Also, most of the OXX CSC codes have Android 4.0.3, ICS, out now. See, here.

Thanks buddy. Have wiped cache partition and rebooted. Have no clue what dalvic is tho  lol

Lets hope this helps.

Will keep you posted.
