Root Phone Keeps Restarting

Hey guys, straight to the point.

Rooted my Galaxy S 2.2.3 Froyo easily, wanted to update to 2.3.3. Gingerbread,
Did that and then wanted to root it, rooted it, with Odin, and now it will switch on, get to the Swipe Lock Screen, and for a few seconds I can move it then it will reset, and it will keep doing the same over and over again.

I have Factory Reset in the Recovery Mode, and did a Wipe Cache on it, it took ages to boot up but did, without lock screen then it rebooted again.

Please help, all I want to do it get it rooted (trying to get into the whole rooting)

I hear that Gingerbread have stopped it, or is this wrong?

Flash GB again with Odin. How are you rooting it by the way? CF root kernel?

Thanks mate, sorry for delayed reply, I sorted it out.

I was using Odin 1.3 or 1.0, and it just killed the phone, so decided to use Odin 1.7 and get the original kernel back on there, after that I put Darky's Rom 10.0 RC6 :)

Learning while im going. :)
