Help Phone keeps restarting

Newbie
Hello all,

My phone keeps restarting (every 5 minutes or so) and I'm trying to figure out if my phone is just getting old or if it could be a software glitch.

I have MobileIron "Mobile@Work" for work security/password and Touchdown ("Nitrodesk") for my work email. Touchdown seemed to be saving all of my old emails and thus the size of the app grew to 2GB. Eventually I had no room to receive new emails. I had to uninstall and resinstall the app. Ever since the reinstallation, my phone keeps restarting.

I am going to get a separate work blackberry/iphone and uninstall MobileIron and Touchdown.

I wanted to know if you think my phone restarting is caused by these apps, or if it could just be that it's time to get a new phone? Should I try a factory reset? I really like this phone and would prefer not to get something new.

Thanks,
Bbhues

Clear cache and dalvik. If the error persists, then it is likely to be a software issue. I did a lot of ROM flashing to my Razr Maxx, and it never exhibited such behavior. With the right utility available, you're set for all occasions. This phone is a veritable juggernaut!

... if still a problem after clearing the cache ... try running it in Safe Mode (disabling all apps you added without uninstalling them). If it stops then you know it is an app you added causing the problem.
