Help Phone keeps sdaying short of memory

My ZTE Blade keeps telling me it is low on memory despite having a new 64 Gb mkem card with not much on it yet. It then diverts me to applications and it appears to me you can move them from the phonbe to the memory card - is that right? If so I have done that for all applications but still get them message. What next>

Where did you get the SD Card from, there are loads of fakes floating about. It's also possible that the max the phone can read is 32GB.

Also, when you move apps to the SD Card, you'll sometimes find that it only moves a small portion of the app. If you head to the manage applications screen and press menu, you should have the option to sort by size. What's taking up the most space?
