Phone locked up and now in for repair :(

Had my One X for under 2 weeks

the screen locked up so nothing worked
held power switch for 10 seconds it forced a shutdown
wouldn't turn on
plugged charger in and no lights on
eventually got it started, on advice from HTC done a forced restart (power & volume down)
up and running then locked up again
tried again, still no joy, screen goes off and then dont come back on

another call to HTC and phone being picked up later for repair

should of stuck to my Desire HD which never let me down in 1 1/2 years or so

not that impressed so far

Sorry to hear about this.

But if you only had your phone for only 2 weeks, why did you not demand an outright brand new replacement? No way would I accept anything else...

I hope I'm not too late

PLEASE DO NOT SEND IN FOR REPAIR!! They will fix your phone instead of exchange for a new one. If you bought the phone in the UK (I assumed you're in the UK because of your nickname) most of the time you have 1 months return and exchange period in case your mobile develop fault. Ask your seller to exchange the mobile for you, if you send it to HTC they'll repair and give you the same (broken) one back.
