Help Phone locks itself and screen goes black...

Hello, when using my phone, it will randomly lock itself and the screen will go black, I then have to click the silver lock button at the top of the phone various number of times to unlock it but the phone will only last about 5 seconds before it locks itself again, how can I fix this problem? Thanks.

I don't have experience with the xperia, but all smartphones have a timer that you can set. You should see a screen timeout option in the display menu.

Menu > Settings > Display > Screen Timeout
