Help Phone Locks Up On Full Charge!

Ok so I'm not crazy about this battery life to begin with but I am finding that when my S3 reaches full charge it crashes and locks up. I have to do a battery pull to get things going again. This is a lose lose situation.

I'm using stock charger with only a few basic apps, any ideas?

Aside from a factory reset.... probably a device exchange. Could be a faulty battery or charging port maybe??? Does it lock up if you pull the device off the charger before it is full?
 
No, I'm only getting it on full charge. It might be a battery issue though, I can almost sit and watch the percentage like a count down clock. At this point verizon is not replacing till after the 19th at earliest so I guess I'm stuck with it for a while. Just wondering if this is a hardware or software issue.
 
Interesting... I have an AT&T device but my brother just got his Verizon GS3 yesterday. I'll have to ask him if he has experienced this.
