Phone Logs View By Option Not Sticking

I just found this bug on MGA firmware, whereby the View By option always returns to "All Logs" after the Phone app is closed.

I usually set this option to "All Calls" so its annoying as every time I go back into the Phone app, I see all my text messages again, and have to reset the option back to "All Calls"

I tried clearing cache+dalvik, but no joy
I also tried clearing cache/data for the Phone app but this didn't make any difference.
Also cleared data for LogProvider (which clears all logs) but I still cannot make the View By option stick to anything other than "All Logs"

Is anyone else getting this problem?

Mine doesn't do it all the time...but it does revert back to that at very random times. Then I switch it back to only calls & it'll stay like that for a while until it happens again. I'm on VZW running stock.
