Help Phone Memory getting full all the time, should I root my phone?

Well, I had a great first week with my phone but now after installing apps, it's getting annoying. All the apps are being stored on the phone memory with maybe just a part on the sd card.

Currently I've got just 21MB of internal memory and over 1.4GB out og the 2 GB on my sd card. If I install 2 more apps, I will have to delete an app from the internal memory, it just gets so bugging. Reading threads on this forum, I realise that there is no way of setting your default installation on sd card (I might be wrong, please let me know if I am) other than rooting my phone.

So if I root my phone will I be able to install all the apps onto the sd card. Secondly I've never done this before, so would you recommend rooting?

There is an application that moves some application from the internal memory to the SD Card. It's called "app2sd". But keep in mind that there are still some apps that can't be moved.

Thanks for the update.

I have over 30 appls and I have installed APPS2SD.

Guess what ? None of the apps can be moved to SD :(

I have the same problem.. since rooting voids warranty i am counfused on whether or not i should do anything about it.. :s
 
rooting voids u of ur warranty but there is a process buy which u can revert the root nd get back ur warranty ;-) so that shudnt be a prob if u really want more mem...
