phone memory getting low

My notification bar tells me that my phone memory is getting low and when I
clik on the message it directs me to apps manager I have plenty room in SD card
and keep all apps possible in there I clear caches and data which sometimes
deletes files that I don't want deleting, so what am I supposed to do with my app manager? when I try to update some apps they download but won't install
because I have insufficient phone space, can anyone help me with this problem
please?

Hello and welcome to AF. :)

Here are two ways of possibly get rid of this annoying problem: (1) Go into Settings ---> Applications ---> Manage Applications and wait for this list to be populated with not just the applications but the amount of memory they are using up. Select a larger app and on the next screen if the the app can be moved to the SD card you'll be able to push the Move to SD button. Repeat the process for each app. (2) Install this app onto your device. http://c4oe.qr.ai

I hope this place will serve you well. :)
