Phone message voice mail indicator not working

[Android Question]

I have an LG G2. It's only about 6 weeks old. The phone call voice mail message indicator is not working. (the phone icon doesn't show anything when someone has left me a voicemail).
Therefore, I don't know if I have any voice mails or not.

I don't see anything in the "settings" that would enable this.

Thanks in advance for your reply.

You might want to call Verizon and make sure that your voicemail was set up correctly.

There is no setting to turn off the notification on your device.

Otherwise if you go into your call settings you can see what Voicemail you use.
