Its hard to be sure of an answer without knowing what phone it is (and which android version)
Do you have blocking mode set up? That could silence it between fixed times each night.

If so you could unset it. If not it is probably an app which is causing this. If you cannot get a solution I suggest that you register and post teh question in the forum for your particular device - someone there will probably know (you can't reply to this response without registering, but you can post again anonymously if you wish)
