Help Phone not Auto-Rotating

So i recently got a Galaxy S4 and decided to root it and remove the bloatware and while in the process i ended up messing up the auto rotate, so then i factory reset the phone and even un-rooted it and still won't work.

Some people mentioned "flashing" my phone but i don't know a good guide to do that so if someone can kindly direct me towards a good and easy guide that would be much appreciated.

QUESTION: Since my phone is Unlocked, will flashing it void that too?

If you have modified your system software then a factory reset won't undo that (all it does is erase user apps and data, it does nothing at all to system software). Nor will unrooting since it's not root itself that is the problem, but something else you did while rooted. That's why people suggest reflashing it.

I'm not an expert of flashing Sasmsungs, so rather than pass on some rough, second-hand information I suggest you wait for someone more familiar with that brand to explain the procedure (it will involve a computer, a Samsung app called Kies, and you should be able to find the software at sammobile.com, but as I've never done it I can't provide specific instructions). For the same reason I can't answer the last question: the HTCs I'm more familiar with require you to relock the phone before you can use the official firmware flashing tools, but Samsung tools will be different.
