Help Phone not charging.

Hi all,

So I went to charge my Dinc2; the orange charger light popped on, but when I looked at the battery widget, I noticed that the battery was not charging.

I walked away from the phone for a little bit, turned the phone back on, and received this message,

"Battery Is low. The charging current is not enough for device power consumption. Please switch to AC adapter.":confused:

Is my battery shot? Is it my phone? I went out to Verizon, and bought a new charger, but that did nothing. Halp please :(

When I plug it into my computer the orange light will blink a couple of times, and then nothing. I've had the phone for a little over a year now; can a battery just die all of a sudden?

I haven't been using a Verizon issued charger for it; I have been using my Kindle Fire charger, which works for all Androids. I went out and bought a Verizon charger, but that is not working either.

Maybe your USB Port is broken? That happened to my one,I am just charging the battery externally for now....

Ruling out the charger, battery, & cable next check for lint in your USB dataport. It may have pocket lint preventing a proper connection.

This happened to me a while back. My charging port went bad, so I couldn't charge my phone.

I wen to the VW store, but one of the inductive charging mats and they happened to have the DINC2 inductive backcover in stock too. It makes the phone every so slightly thicker, but my original case still fits.

The inductive charging works through the case I use.

If an inductive charger doesn't work, then I'd say it is your battery.

I was lucky in that it turned out my phone still under warranty, so VW replaced it. Took like a week though. I kept the charging and mat and use it with my replacement phone. It's now how I charge overnight.
