I have a htc wildfire on vodafone which is not charging, both with a mains adaptor and direct through USB the connection is temperamental. I.e. with it plugged in the light doesn't come on and the phone doesn't charge, sometimes in a certain position it will charge but less than 50% of the time. Unsure whether I need a new battery or new charger or is it something fundamentally wrong with the phone. This is my first replacement which I've had of at least a year and this problem has just arose. I'm insured fortunately. Obviously it's barely usable at the moment so any help would be appreciated.
