Phone not starting up

[Android Question]

I have a HTC Desire X. Battery ran down to 4% and simply shut down. Upon charging, the phone does not switch back on.

Please help me with this issue.
Thank You.

I'm guessing that by "upon charging" you mean for a few hours. The battery is still in ramp-up. If it has enough power to light the screen as it's shutting down, I'd be surprised. Let it charge for 24 hours.
