Phone Notifications

I was wondering if there is a way to hide your notification. I have my phone so that it's locked but even with the phone locked so nobody can get into it you can still see the notifications that go thru. I was wondering if there was a way to hide that as well.

most phones you should be able to not have notifications on the lockscreen. it should be in your settings>lockscreen>turn on off for notifications.

Thanks, yeah I found it shortly after posting this. I didn't realize that was a core feature of the android it was right in the settings.
