Root Phone Number for NC

I am using CM7 Stable on my Nook Color with a dual boot SD card and would like to set a phone number in the system settings so that I can use certain apps that check for a phone number but don't use the phone.

Can this be done?

i havent tried but if anything it would be google voice, i dont think there is anyway for the caller to hear youm even with a headphone with a mic built in
