I think there is some problem with how my Captivate detects the battery.
As said in the title, I can't boot the phone unless i plug in the USB, go into recover and then reboot. (Running the Stock Rogers 2.2). Also, once booted, if I remove or put back in the USB cable, the phone does not detect this change at all. So if I boot it with the USB plugged in, I can take it out after boot and it will still show USB connected, and will still show the animated charging indicator.
I did semi brick my phone in the past, by trying to restore my nandroid backup using CWM without removing the voodoo lagfix from Perception 10.1. I did manage to fix things by using Odin to flash a i9000 rom, then reflash to stock.
I guess I am wondering if this is a hardware issue or something I can fix by reflashing. Hs anyone else had this issue?
