Phone Problems!

Okay here's the problem ever since today my phone has been acting weird, its flickering (sometimes) and goes on some weather app which i did not press, so i thought id turn the phone off, once i did i noticed few minutes later its vibrating constantly, it just shows a loading battery then a half full battery then just vibrates i tried to turn it on but it doesn't, only turns on if i link it up to the comp, already tried taking the battery out putting it back in.

the problem might be that a bit of water must of went in.

Welcome to the forums, Joshken.

I love these mystery phone support issues. HTC One? Samsung Fascinate? Apple iPhone 4S? Jitterbug? :D

Kidding aside my friend, what phone is it, and since you mention water, I'd first advise not turning it on again until you're certain it's thoroughly dry inside and out or further damage can be done in the circuits.

Pull the battery, sd card and SIM card, then put the device in a container of dry, uncooked rice for at least 12 hours.

Once out, go over it as much as you can with rubbing alcohol on cotton swabs (won't harm it a bit).

Taking the SIM and sd cards out, along with the battery, may resolve the issue.. maybe not, but be sure to follow the rice and alcohol regimen before powering back up the device.

Let us know how it goes. :)

My kindle fire once got wet sitting in front of an open window during a rain, causing the backlight to flicker, apps launched themselves, etc, then the backlight was GONE. Held down power to force it to turn off, waited two days, and it works fine.

im back again!
sadly it didnt work now its just stuck on the samsung screen and just staying there forever tried to format/factory reset still dosnt work.

not sure what to do now

also if i dont start it up it just stays in this loop of an uncharged battery and a charged battery and then vibrating.
