Help Phone recently started speaking the number of incoming calls

My galaxy 3s just started speaking the number of my incoming calls. I don't know how this setting took place and I can't figure out how to cancel it.

Any ideas?

Android settings > Accessibility > Talkback

Make sure this is set to off. if it is set to off, you probably have an American S3 with LightFlow installed.

I checked and talk back is off. I don't know what light flow is. I don't see a widget for that on my screen.

pull down the notification bar at the top and see if driving mode is enabled if it is disable it and your done. Alternatively you can see the option in settings > language and input > text-to-speech output > driving mode and make sure its off.

yup in the path i gave i like the feature i am so used to using it since my nokia days when i used to have a similar feature on it on.

I havent bothered tryin to get my license back after an 18month ban 10yrs ago.
Realised im not safe to drive and could have killed someone.
Luckily i live in centre of biggest town in scotland, joined onto biggest city and containing its airport now lol.
Cars r too expensive to run n bad to the planet anyway (this coming from an ex rally driver lol)
