Phone Replacement

Don't forget about coverage too, it kind of sucks compared to T-Mobile. Get up Sprint get up!
There have been a number of times when in Pennsylvania that my wife had coverage on vmu and I had zilch on T-Mobile. There have been very few times that I had signal and she had nothing.

I think a lot depends upon location. I have good 3G coverage (but dismal speeds) here in OC California. Wimax is spotty. But if I go up to Big Bear in the San Bernardino mountains, I have zero coverage. The only carrier that does have coverage up there is Verizon.

Reason why I left right there.

In Southern California (LA and OC counties), T-mobile seems to have better 4G coverage outdoors but has a lot of difficulty penetrating buildings while VM seems to do better (although you'd be lucky to get Wimax as opposed to 3G)

Hmm, does this mean that VM typically overlooks any modifications made to phones (rooting, custom ROMs, custom recoveries, etc...) and just gives their customers the replacement? I'm asking because I may need to get a new Victory, my current one is biting the dust and I've been trying to revive it for the last five days...

Multiple people on these forums have returned rooted and otherwise software modified phones with no problems. I'd say it's very unlikely that it will be an issue.
