phone resets after bluroff, and downloading apps

Is there a way around this?

I was linked to universal androot 1.6.2-beta5.apk - would this work?

do I just browse a thread with that linked and click on it from the phone and download it then install it?

is there anything else I need to do?

You have to do the permanent Motoblur bypass that P025 lists. In this forum go to the Devour -- All things root forum then look of the link that says Motoblur permanent bypass.
