Help Phone resets constantly, tried everything

I did a search, but this is really bizarre.

The phone resets itself about 10-15 times a day for no apparent reason. It might happen in the middle of doing something, or it might happen while the phone is in my pocket.

I'm under warranty so they sent me a new phone entirely, except I had to use the old back cover and battery. It still kept re-setting, so I assumed it wasn't the phone itself but one of the cards or apps or something else.

I bought a new battery and it kept happening.

I removed the SIM card and waited a bit, kept happening.

I removed the SD card and waited a bit, kept happening.

I did a factory reset and waited a bit and it still kept happening. The only app I installed after the reset was Swype, which I've used for a year now without any issues.

Do you guys have any ideas what the problem might be? Customer service is totally baffled and it seems like nothing I do fixes the situation. Unless it's Swype somehow, but I did some searching and no one else seems to have a reset issue with Swype.

I've been having the same problem for 2 months. Sent phone to HTC TWICE.
First time it came back, it started the next day. Phone went back 2 days later. That time it lasted 8 days and started. Went to ATT Device Service Center.

This is a software problem, not a phone problem. Tech advised me to install Go Launcher EX app. Said he did it and had no more problems. Three days later I was back there. TWO other people with same problem there. One had phone replaced, but no help.

I called ATT again Tuesday. They act like they have never heard of this problem. He said could be something on SD card. Remove, leave out at least 24 hours. After 23 1/2 hours, phone rebooted before I reinserted card. It's still happening, but seems to be less. Doesn't matter if I make GO Launcher the default or not. Still happens.

I'm writing to ATT. Personally, I think they should replace my HTC Inspire with another phone of MY choice without having to use my upgrade.
