anyone else have this prob? when i plug the phone into the computer, the phone dosent respond to touch screen selections. i can barely unlock the screen and trying to select icons is very difficult, and using the keyboard is next to impossible. i am on my 3rd bionic and have the same prob with all of them. dosent make a difference if its in charge only mode or pc mode. whats up with the phone?

Is this with the stock cable? If not, does it do the same thing with the stock cable?

... yes cable is important ... and ...

When connected if you call up the Files app and try looking at the SD card or SD Ext card you will notice that they are not available (the PC has exclusive control).

Any app that needs to access either area will not work with the USB cable connected. The one I miss is ScreenGrabber. It doesn't work because it needs to store the screenshot image it takes in one of the two areas that the PC has exclusively allocated.

Mine has this problem as well. It does it when plugged in and you try to unlock the device. I have found this doesn't happen all the time. But I have no idea what causes it.

I have had the same problem because I wasn't using the cable that came with the Bionic. As soon as I began using it, the problem vanished.

Most likely, the problem is with your cable.

Yeah...I've got it too. I changed cables and it helps a little bit but there are still some arguments between the bionic and the computer:mad:

Mine does the same thing, I also use stock cables. It does it after being plugged in for a little while. Its a B when I try to turn the alarm off in the mornings haha.

Mine started doing this last week. Some issue with shielding (lack thereof) on some cables/chargers. I'm using a VZW charger that they shipped me with a CLNR Bionic. HW version B BTW-not sure if that matters...
