I have a Kyocera Event. Last night someone spilled beer on my phone, got all in the back and on the battery. I went to turn it on this morning and only the bottom three button lights and the LCD light (to show me i have a text) will come on, the screen isn't lighting up at all. I went to radio shack and asked if a new battery would help and they said no, the problem is the phone and that I need a new one. Unfortunately I can't afford a new phone at the moment. Is there any way to repair the screen?

You can replace the screen but that won't fix the phone, because there's a lot more wrong with it than just the screen. For one thing, the sugar in the beer (beer is mostly malt, which is mostly barley sugar) probably sorted out just about everything in the phone - especially since instead of immediately ripping the battery out, you left the phone shorting everything all night.

If your phone is fixable, I'd buy every single lottery ticket in the world - they'd all be winners. You'd even win with the ones you didn't buy - that's how lucky you'd be.
