Help Phone sends random text messages

I have a new Samsung Galaxy s4 and it will randomly send an occational sms text message. WHY?? I use the standard texting app and it will send these random texts... please see example pics below.

Sometimes see this sort of thing when there's some freebie app or game sending texts. You'd better check your bill. Have you installed anything like that recently, maybe wallpapers or something, and sideloading things from outside of Google or Amazon? "1760-4019-963" could be premium rate SMS for all you know, but it's also the same format for mobile phone numbers here in China, 11 digits, beginning with 1

What country are you in and who's your carrier?

I have the same thing happening and it all started after I began flashing roms then tried to return to the stock rom. My phone still doesn't get 4G and now someone is joining in on my text message conversations. The radio loses signal and stays dead every 5 mins then comes back on. When it does that any text i was sending wont go out until i reboot my phone. An app? Unlikely seems as they're all downloaded from play store:

Can't even install anything else or my phone runs like garbage which is why i want to flash a custom rom. Been reading about this stagefright just wanted to spread the word, not the worm. I installed the stock rom as i mentioned earlier and flashed their radios, ZV5 and ZV6, CM11 and CM12. Again not throwing out blame just a heads up, this never happened until now and I've had my service for 2 years with sprint already
