Phone shuts down over and over

[Android Question]

My Samsung Galaxy NOte 2 keeps rebooting itself. Trying to charge it, it goes off and on before I can get to startup screen!! I have removed battery several times and my SIM card..nothing works. As soon as I turn back on..starts all over. Please

It depends on how fast the cycle is - a minute or more? Probably bootlooping. A few seconds? The power switch (the switch behind the power button) may be shorted.
