Help phone shuts off when there is no signal

This is soo frustrating, I'm on my THIRD EVO3D and discover a new bug.

Again, when there is no signal, i.e. NYC Subway the phone would just shut down itself. So when I have to check the time or what not, I have to wait for it to boot back up.

I noticed it won't happen if I listen to music.

Here is a link to my first thread about evo3d problems. Now my 30 days are up, I hope they will still exchange phone or something.

I had the exact same problem when I got the incredible on launch day. That, and the awful service in my area made me drop the service. Their signal maps are outright lies.

I would take it back and at least try asap. Its definitely not something that shud happen. Iv had my evo since open day and havent experienced this

Almost sounds like that is a new battery saving 'feature'!!! lol!

Jokes apart, since it isn't a documented feature, certainly take it to the sprint store and get it swapped out.
