Help Phone Stopped Vibrating

I have been using my GS3 for a good month or so. Loving it! However a few weeks back my phone auto updated to Android 4.1.1 and ever since, it stopped vibrating when I get a text message. It still does vibrate when I get a WhatsApp message though. Any idea on what's going on?

Turns out that my vibration in my messages settings was unchecked lol.

How I fixed it:

Messaging > *Press Menu Button* (The one to the left on the home button) > Settings > Under "Notification Settings" check "Vibrate"

My device is on Android 4.1.1

in your message settings. Make sure the "vibrate when notified" box has a tick in it. Also, have you installed anything reacenty like a game I have found that some apps have a habit of changing settings on the phone when you use them.
