Did you recently download an update? I've seen people in a situation similar to yours after an OTA update. The solution is unfortunately a hard reset using the phone's buttons. You will lose anything not saved to the SD card or backed up elsewhere, but it should give you back the use of your phone.
You have the L3 with Virgin Mobile? Have you tried contacting their support on the phone or through Facebook? If you get through to them now, it's possible they could have a replacement to you by tomorrow (if they can't help fix the boot loop). Their tech support isn't usually that proficient, but they're at least good at getting warranty replacements out quickly - guess that's what I'd pursue at this point if I were in your position.
