Phone suggestions for aftermarket Android?

So we have the T-Mobile G1 and the HTC Magic in the UK, but it's occurred to me that I could go with another phone and install Android, preferably one with a nicer camera and a flash, assuming someone puts together a hack to support it, and a slide out keyboard.

Can anyone recommend phones that are compatible with Android with the least issues, bar the G1 and Magic?

I'd say its probably best just to get a phone that comes with android to ensure maximum stability and access to the latest updates when the come. The Samsung i7500 has pretty good specs.
